A Nail Art Themed Birthday Gift

As mentioned in my last post about my 18th birthday, two of my nearest and dearest friends Sam and Kat got me a lovely present. So lovely I thought it deserved it's own post. You will all most likely know by now how much I love nail polish and nail art. My friends probably think I'm a bit weird with how often I talk about the newest polish collection, and quite a lot of the time try and stop me from spending anymore money. I can't blame them to be honest, if it wasn't for them I'd probably have a whole room dedicated to the stuff. Sam's always been one of my friends who I can talk to for hours about anything beauty related without feeling like I'm being annoying, and this present proves just how well she and Kat know me.

I received a really lovely range of nail-art related items in the box. Nail glitters in all colours of the rainbow (and more!), flower, bow and dimante nail decorations, metallic nail tape, and a set of nail-art brushes. I've been eyeing up this sort of stuff on ebay for a long long time, and I'm so excited to try it all out. I'm thinking a Hawaiian sunset design with the use of the flower decorations. Have you lovely lot got any suggestions?

  7. Happy Birthday! And what a creative gift. I have never been the artsy type when it comes to my nails {I still have a bad habit of biting them sometimes - shh!}

    I just wanted to say thank you for your sweet comment on my blog on Friday! I am so happy that you are reading along with us as our family life unfolds. I can't wait for baby boy to get here either :)

    And I am so jealous you live in England! I did a study abroad there 4 years ago and your country stole my heart.

    1. Oh gosh, I didn't stop biting mine until last year because I became obsessed with painting them and didn't want to ruin them!

      No need to thank me, I just adore your blog!

      Haha, I'm so jealous you live in America. Hey, maybe be can do a swap sometime? ;) I'm actually basing my university choices on whether they do a year abroad studying in America...
