NOTD: Models Own Bows



It may not look like it, but I would go as far to say that this is probably the most difficult nail design I've done, due to the fiddly technique it takes with the brush to get the triangular bow shape. But saying that, I'm pleased with how this turned out.  It's not my best, but it's definitely not my worst. I used Models Own Utopia as a base colour, Models Own Pink Blush for the bows, and the Models Own and Wah Nail Art Pen to outline the bows. This is such a cute and fun nail design, and I'll be trying it with other colours sometime soon I'm sure, maybe a pink and a blue?

I'm spending today revising for my Media Studies A2 exam tomorrow, and like a complete and utter idiot I've left basically all my revision to do today. I can see a big fail coming in August. I just can't wait for these exams to be over, my last one is Wednesday, and then its freedom! If you have exams, then I hope they're all going well! Also, I'm compiling a reading list for the Summer, do any of you have any recommendations?

    Wow those bows are great!! I just know i wouldnt have a steady enough hand to do them!

    I'm sure you will be fine with your exam! just dont worry about it because what you have learned will be in your brain somewhere and it will be remembered by you when you need it! :)

      Aw thank you, you should see the state of my left hand haha! Well I hope so, luckily the first half of the exam isn't knowledge based, it's all analytical.

      Hahaha yes I was! Sorry I didn't see this earlier! I know they were brilliant. I've only just come off of the conversation 6 hours later because i started talking to a group of bloggers and youtubers haha, how mental!

      Erm, the exam could of gone better. Like an idiot I was up until 4am last night, so only managed to get four hours sleep before the exam.

    I personally thing your nails look really nice, it's much better than I could do! Good luck with your exam tomorrow, at least you have done some revision so I'm sure it will go better than you think! For your reading list, have you read the 'A Song of Ice and Fire' series? They're really good! :)

    Ps - you should definitely make a 20 before 20 list, it's a good idea! :) xx

    These nails are so cute, they look 3D! Good luck with your exams, I've just finished mine, it's such a relief, you feel so stressed now but when you've finished them that amazing feeling of freedom makes it so worth it, and you feel like you deserve summer haha! Tilly x
